The perspective sight-size drawing from the New School courtyard
For our assignment we were supposed to draw a view of the Lang Building using the perceptual methods that have been practiced;
Creating an interior space
We researched on the examples of 20th century modern furniture designers, and chose a chair, a table, a lamp and a sofa from one or more of these designers. We went through the examples and bookmarked the images and did a search for the technical drawings and /or specifications and dimensions for the pieces of our choice. We worked with these for the next project involving scale and proportion.
We chose the furniture that we ave selected already, created an interior space 15′ by 25′, with floor tiles of one foot by one foot, and drew a floor plan with the furniture in it. Also we completed the interior elevations, and isometric drawings of this project.
