My partner made a digital painting. The rose represents my obsession with roses where as the hands surrounding the rose represent “magical hands”. My partner says that Grafting is something magical, the results are surprising, it can go pretty wrong or it can do wonders. This is the aspect he has tried to depict.
To me it looked very nice, because of the bright colours. Even though the corner drawing are of no use (according to my partner) I feel they balance the piece really well. The spray paint is looking great. It eye looks intense. Ironically in grafting language we often refer the bud to an eye (this is a informal terminology). The usage of the neon lines grabs my attention really well and makes me look at the object (rose) again and again. Lastly, the green droplet makes a good connection with the complete painting.
