Integrative Seminar – Peer to Peer – Poem

Peonies

This poem is a combination of phrases and words that I put together from three various sources of text for my partner, Boram. The three texts include lyrics from a song that Boram likes, an article about Peonies, which I found from the New York Times and a poem about flowers online. The process of making this poem was very intriguing, as putting pieces of words together to make into a poem is not as easy as it sounds. I found it the hardest to edit words from the New York Times article to try and fit into the poem, but funnily enough it is the one I enjoyed the most. It made me appreciate the authors choice of words in it, even if the article was very factual and mundane because at the end, and during the editing process, the words came along well to fit the poem in my view.
