The making of this jacket required a lot of speculation. When we began we followed the process of apparel making by creating a fit around the dress form with measured paper. we made this even stronger by layering heated plastic. When the form was ready we began with a facade of thick plastic which we gave texture with a heat gun and folds, this became our one side of the jacket. We then created geometric shapes of paper and connected them together to create a texture, the space between each geometric shape gave this material more loose movable space, which was beneficial for our jacket. We used metal scraps to create spikes like detail on a shoulder and metal ornamentation all over the jacket. After this laborious detail was done, the jacket was complete.
