The sculpture depicts the St Peters Basilica dome, a symbol of grandeur and power of the Vatican city. I inverted and paired the dome with a copy to represent breasts. The Vatican hasn’t represented women in their history. Women, the reason why humanity exists.
This sculpture is made out of plaster and is covered in foundation. Foundation is something we humans use to cover our imperfections and I thought it in a way relates to the coverup of secrets by the Vatican city.
