Artifacts From Home

I graduated from a massive public school on the northern suburbs of Chicago, about thirty minutes away from the city. I included artifacts from both the city of Chicago as well as from my hometown in the suburbs as I consider them both to have shaped me while living there.

I consider my friends to be a large part of my identity, whether laughing over thai food or exploring the Chicago Botanic Gardens, they are definitely an important part of my community.

My family moved around a lot throughout my life, seven times to be exact, so I have always been taught to consider home wherever your family is. *brother is not included in the picture above as he lives in Colorado currently but is still a part of the artifact*

Above is a voice recording taken at Millennium Park, one of the largest and most well known parks in Chicago. This was taken during one of the many free concerts held in the park and I found the sounds to give good insight into the city of Chicago.
