The assignment started out as paper black squares with white lines on them.
We then evolved to picking three of the squares and creating them on illustrator.
The next part of the assignment was to use these squares and tracing paper to create a 3×2 square grid to make a new pattern. New rules were added that allowed for more decisions to be made amongst the lines. The tracing paper draft was then recreated in illustrator, as seen below.
The next part of the assignment was to make our own rules to finish the assignment in a way that was new and creative. Below was my final.
