I first created the computer-made value scale in the center row. Then, I went out and took pictures to correspond with these values. The final step was to create a hand-drawn value scale to correspond with the values in the two other rows. I first sketched out mark-making ideas for the hand drawn row, and then chose one and drew it on 11 x 17 paper. Then I scanned the top image and put it next to the other two rows of value scale for the completed project.
