Process:
I wanted to take my favorite parts from my sketchbook and incorporate them into the Large-Scale Drawing. My intention was to visually create my headspace and feelings onto the canvas through the use of mixed-media. I wanted the audience to be able to empathize with the canvas.
The Finished Product:
3×6 ft; raw canvas; acrylic, oil pastel, colored pencil, marker.
Overall, I think the finished product was pretty successful! I ended up finishing the Large-Scale Drawing within the week, so I have started a second, with the same concept but with more experimentation with material and process.
