The magazine cover was a extension work from the Highline. At this project, Lily, Aory, Seunghwan and I, we work together for brain storm and finished our project. At first, we collect the databases, which are image we like and related to our fake news. We create a google drive and put all of image into it.
After that, we draw out the outline of the project we plan to do. Aory are taking charge of it, she helps us to solve the photoshops problem. Then we shop together at Blick, and each of us take own responsibility to get what we want to use.
Then, each of us add edit our digital magazine cover with the speciality in our original work.
The final outcome combined all of our works. The shape of the train comes from Lilly’s work, the idea of making a collage comes from Aory’s work, the sign on the side of the train comes from Rachels work and also connected to the theme of all of the fake articles we wrote, last but not least, the landscape-shaped barcode comes from Seunghwan’s work. That’s how this final magazine cover connects with our works.
