Digital Grisaille is the way use the analogy drawing combine with the photoshop. I draw the sketch of the cuboid first and them took a picture of it, finally using the tools in the photoshop make surface of it. The tools in photoshop could make the cuboid has more than one texture looked.
Step 1:
Analogy drawing of the cuboid and using the hard charcoal show the radial effect by only showing the white and dark.
Step 2:
Check out a Canon 70D DSLR Camera Kit, using the digital camera take at least 35 photos of various surfaces/textures and or interesting images from around your environment. Upload the images to your computer.
Those are my favorite textures
Then from three of them, I choose this as my final texture I want to use.
Step 4:
After choosing the final texture, I started to drag the image into photoshop and play with the tools.
1)using the painting tool clean the analogy drawing first
2)Find the ruler from window to measure the perspective of the cupid
PROCESS
3)Combine multiple squares and rectangles give the cupid a new surface
4)drag the texture I choose into photoshop
5)Using the lighting tools play with it give the cupid light point and shadow
6)Be able to work in concert with cupid, I also give the sphere a texture
