This is a piece I really like in this exhibition, because it surprise me at entrance at this exhibition. I first notice about this dress because of the ribbons on this dress. It reminds me about the pretty woman was standing in front of me. Besides this, it also attract me by its function. This dress was short, you can use it as evening wear or formal wear too. This great dress was inspired by Chanel’s invitation. Before that, black color was hardly use in the design of the clothes, because it is a color of asceticism and virtue, it usually connects with the religious figure in different kind of culture. In this way, to be able to make this dress have to get fabric from an expensive dye process to convey privilege and distinction. However, invite a series of little black change this old prejudice of the black color, now people started to compare this color with the respectful, noble, sexy, and easy to clean. This gives a new definition of the black color, also it represents those people who work hard such as: writer, lawyer. In this exhibition, it not only shows the Chanel’ s black dress, but also a dress design by Arnold Scaasi. This dress was made in 1966. This piece was place at entrance of the exhibition. This design attracts people’s attention because of it clean cutting and the way of make change in the basic little black dress. Compare to Chanel’s little black dress, this b dress was design more interesting by changing the heavy black fabric to the light gauze. It makes the dress looks light and graceful. And the collar band also design very well by working in concert with the decoration on the dress.（ribbon）And it looks young although in the black color. It totally makes the black color stay far from symbolism of the religious. And make it to fashion in a new aspect. This is reason to say creating the new fashion aspect is the definition of beauty.

This is new type of the clothing which using the special material such as wool jersey, wool, patent leather and vinyl; to make the clothes become interchangeable, clearly coordinated, and practical. This kind of clothes guide a new fashion trend, it also could use in space exploration and influence the future fashion trend too. Because of its functionally, it belongs the definition of beauty.

“Le smoking” is suit which design by Yves Saint Laurent in 1967, Paris. This suit effects the fashion world until right now. “Le Smoking” is a first women suit which is adaption of men’s tuxedo for women’s wear. Since this is a fist time invented this kind of clothes, it considers a revolution for the gender fighting. In history, women had less right than men, but this clothing also started to make people focus on it and started to make change of it. Not only the meaning of the clothes, it also comfortable and beauty to wear it. Base on the meaning and the effect of this clothes. It should definitely as a definition of beauty. The most reason I like about this dress because it supporting the equality of men and women. I define this as a kind of beauty.
