In the beginning, It was difficult to construct this collage because I was thinking “so small” and I wasn’t allowing myself to branch outside my comfort zone and make a whole. Im very satisfied with how this piece came out and how everything flows in a very complex & balanced way. My personal fav part is how the figure drawing on the right aligns with the lines and other shapes along the side. I enjoyed the critique in class because it left me with more ideas for the bottom left corner. I kept with the geometrical shape idea and incorporated the small daisies I photographed at the garden. Overall, though troubling at first, Im very satisfied with how this clean yet sophisticated collage turned out.
