This is a hand I made out of wire and cardboard manipulations. I drew 8 hand gestures on tracing paper and took wire to outline it. The second manipulation I did was with cardboard however, it was incredibly hard for me to manipulate due to the rigidity of the cardboard and its reluctance to co-operate. I found the wire much easier to work with however, it was still quite a struggle for me. For the wire project, I simply laid the wire on my traced hand gestures. I found it harder and harder to manipulate the hand the more I completed it. I feel like the cardboard looks much better than the wire if it were finished. Drawing comes naturally to me therefore, it was much easier doing the 2D drawings than the 3D.
