When choosing sound files to work with, I tried creating a storyline to help with meshing the sounds. So, I looked for sounds that were similar and complimented each other. I thought about a tap dance performance- how the audience chatters before it starts, the different sounds and syncopation, and the end when the audience shows their appreciation.
However, when finding videos, I looked for images that I found personally appealing. The videos I ended up with contrasted each other so I thought to alternate them and find a way to create cohesion. I changed the opacity of a singular video and layered it sporadically throughout the video.Randomly, the spurts layered nicely with the song and I liked how it created a feeling of chaos in a way.
