Francis Picabia; Artist Trap

This was the final piece that was inspired to be Francis Picabia’s trap. I was inspired to do this piece because Picabia never wanted to be associated with Surrealism. I combined the Satin Tuning Fork, by Yves Tanguy and Th great Sirens by Paul Delvaux. The Satin Tuning Fork reminds me of Picabia’s art because of the unique abstract structures. The Great Sirens piece reminds me of Picabia because of the nude models and Picabia often took inspiration from naked women and would use them in his paintings.

This was trail number two, trying to imitate Surrealism

This was trial number one where I just combined aspects of Picabia’s paintings into one piece.
