When I began to think about censorship one of the main topics that came to my mind was climate change denial and the censorship of information regarding the climate crisis. Through my research I found that the US Government, under President Trump’s administration, has been censoring official documents and making the climate crisis seem less severe to the public. One of the main ways is through the censorship of scientific predictions of future circumstances. Dangerous information about the impacts of rising sea levels, air pollution, deforestation, and fast fashion are being withheld from citizens, even though the government is responsible for protecting their people.
