final thoughts: i really enjoy this medium and plan to experiment more. this type of portritaure has never been done before. it is very time consuming and intricate but the act of manipulating fabric is second nature to me. This piece takes hours of planning and many more to execute. taking and image and directing it then reasembling with another medium tells me so much more about that original image. finding ways to simplify an image and pull out the most important features always gets me a very creative headspace. There are so many ways to look at the world, i choose to see it in fabric.
