For my integrative 2 final project I really want to focus on something that I am passionate about and also that I could see as a possible career interest. I am focusing on animals, specifically the effects of pollution and our use of them as a commodity. I am thinking of doing an art instillation where the viewers have a direct confrontation that is equalling disturbing as it is inspiring. I want my art piece to be more than just another Facebook video you scroll past. Using research in contemporary communication I hope to influence my viewers to change their daily habits in ways that help the lives and well being of animals. I have many ideas for this project and ways of inciting people in so that I can give them information on the issue at hand.
