Week 1 –
- New Assets and scene set up. (Christina)
- Adjusting puzzles into new scene, paying attention to playtest feedbacks and bugs (Claire)
- Add sound effects for interactions (Claire)
- Cinematic intro to tell the player they are the alien character and they need to escape (Sibe)
- Testing new scene layout on Monday.
Week 2 –
- Change almost all of the objects to physics interactions (assign colliders, test physics settings) (Sibe)
- Remove Inventory UI and change Touch interactions to grab and hold (Christina)
- Change existing puzzles to location-based puzzles (grabbing and holding objects in hands, instead of collecting via inventory) (Claire)
- Add in-game tutorials for controller and interactions (Claire)
Week 3 –
- Model scientists; Decide what animation movements we will need (Claire)
- Model Tarp labyrinth puzzle (Christina)
- Make custom illustrations for UI assets and fonts; Clock, ID, Fuel, “Scientists only” and “Military only” signs, etc. (Sibe)
Week 4 –
- Start making ending (Win & Lose) cinematics that match the Intro (Sibe)
- Animate (rigging and motion capture?) scientists and insert into scene (Claire & Christina)
Week 5 –
- Record gameplay, and cut final trailer for gallery space (Sibe)
- Posters for gallery space (Sibe)
- Testing and debugging (Claire & Christina)
