By: Ximena Posada and Zeynep Gulay After 7 days of leaving the Mycelium in the mold, the mushrooms turned white and hardened. We took it out of the mold by twisting it out and pulling. The mycelium was now hard enough to move around and hold. In order to stop the growth we went on to step 8A. We placed the mycelium into the oven at 200F for a little while. This is how the mycelium looked after being in the oven for 30 minutes. We decided to let it dry out in room temperature afterwards.
