Talking Pictures Captions
My eyes were caught by the wall decoration. There are old objects and pictures which are connected with my hometown history. It reminds me many things. The mailman is riding an old bicycle. People are making their own wine. I was thinking at that time and recorded by a picture.
I took this picture, which definitely has the Chinese cultural pattern at the Met on February 1st. However, some Chinse culture are fading in this period, so I wanted to take photo of it and record it to pass on the next generation. Making more efforts to prevent the losing culture from happening continually.
This pork jelly is a delicious dish of one Michelin Star restaurant. The taste is definitely great, but it also has an artistic appearance.
I was so hungry at night and tried to find something to it. Luckily, there is a supermarket nearby, so I rushed into that place and took several boxes of shu mai. Whereas, I still needed to go back and microwaved them.
I wrote some characters on the wood and took a picture to record my expectations and feelings at that time.
It is the interior scene in an ancient pagoda. The patterns like auspicious clouds, which on the lamp are really traditional and some the golden wheel-like thing is also unique in culture. I hope to find some inspirations from this tone of the photo and other decorations and patterns in the temple in the future interior design.
When I walk past a restaurant, the poster there caught my eyes. A woman with cheongsam reminds me the old living style of Shanghai.
An old truck with steel frames nearby makes a strong contrast with the fancy building behind.
After seeing that poster, I went to register that VIP membership for free.
The gold and crispy appearance of fish makes me feel so hungry. When I want to eat it with my chopsticks, I suddenly stop my hand and take out my phone. I want to post one to show my friends first.
The phoenix represents females in Chinese culture. This huge sculpture of phoenix is decorated on the wall in a restaurant. And the restaurant wants to convey luck to their customers.
In the front of the dragon sculpture, I can feel the sense of holiness and solemn. The eyes of dragon seem to star at me everywhere I go.
I was on a subway to my friend’s home. The subway was not crowded, so I was able to look through the window and think something else. The unique pattern of Canal street makes me took a picture of it.
This is a picture for a temple. The name of it was written by the former Chinese chairman on the board, which is on the top of the door. What’s more, the colors of this door match very well, and I would get some inspirations from these colors and patterns someday.
This ancient town was changed into a travelling place. The mix of modern culture and ancient buildings are so interesting to visit.
I was sipping and tasting tea, sitting near the window. The willow is swinging with wind, and the river runs slowly. I love to spend my time like this.
In the Chinatown, a Chinese traditional music went inside my ear. I try to find them through the voice of music and finally I see them at the corner of the street. Two man played their traditional instruments and totally enjoyed the music.
It is a store which sell many Chinese style lamps and furniture’s. The way of showing the furniture’s is kind of weird. The chair stood on the table and different styles of chairs piled up.
A small stand were selling some pretty objects, like paper-cut and tiny crafts. They look so delicate and they look like that they are easily broken.
I am controlling my weight these days. So, I took a picture for my sister’s milk tea with Kung Fu Tea printed on it. It reminds me of Kung Fu I have learned from primary school.
