For this project, I chose an institution I am really interested in, which is the animal care center and shelter. I started to look at this website. This is the institution where my roommate adopted a cat.
We went to union square on Saturday, to our surprised there are no than one institution of dog and cat adoption. We saw three institutions and two of them are mobile vans. From my observation, many people are interested in this activity and the percentage of succeeded adoption is really high. When I research on arfhamptons.org, I found that staff will write a story for each animal in order to help the future owner to know them. These mobile vans will drive around New York and the policy for them to adopt animals is base on a first come first serve basis.
