I am an incoming sophomore at Parsons. It is also my second year in New York, I am no different from any other college students. I moved here last August just with three suitcases and thought I had myself figured out; I thought I had myself together and was independent enough. Within the first few months in college, I had no idea how to use Adobe programs nor was I interested in graphics at all. I realised that my past pieces (in and out of Parsons) were influence by the theme “mother and child” and developed three-dimensional pieces within the theme. Everyday was a challenge, everyday was a fashion show at Parsons. I am currently majoring in Strategic Design and Management and hoping to minor in Interior Design. After my first year at parsons, I became a more independent and challenging artist. Although I am majoring in the business side, I am urged to step out of my comfort zone and explore more about designs.
