The main concept for the zine was to represent my personal relationship with social media which is mainly defined my the term “idgaf” which is an acronym for “I don’t give a f**k.” This acronym perfectly describes how I personally view and use social media which is I don’t really care. The zine is a collection of photos I have posted on either Instagram or Snapchat which embody my posts on social media. Many of the photos are of random things I saw in my everyday life that amused me and the cover is a painting I made with black and white acrylic paint. I wanted to create a juxtaposition between having low quality random photos combined with the classic high end magazine style.
