Gurlz is an ongoing mixed media art collection, showcasing women of color in a way that eliminates natural skin tone, to encourage the viewer to see them through a vibe, an energy, and “colorful” way, as opposed to “colored.”

I wanted this collection to embody female friendships and bonds that was positive, and uplifting, which is always how I feel when I’m with my Gurlz.
