So far this year one of the biggest issues I have faced were the lack of education the peers around me have on Palestine. This surprised me. thousands of children and civilians have either been killed or forced to flee the country because of the harsh conditions they have been living in. The Israeli Army has been killing innocent children while the international community stands silent, especially in the US as they don’t want to offend the big jewish population. I used my poster series to inform my peers about the struggles of the Palestinian community by highlighting the companies that supported the Israeli Army. I used very popular companies that are instantly recognizable in the western community for my peers to realize how many of the products that we use or consume everyday support the killing of thousands of Palestinian children. I also used pastel colors and I wanted people to find it hard to recognize what the posters are about initially, since the Palestinian issue is always overlooked.
