For this project, I chose Christy Ann Martine’s poem which is down below. When I read the poem I imagined a girl falling down from the sky between the clouds and the deforming into a raindrop. During the process of creating this poster, I made sure to include the things we learned in class such as silhouette making and using texts in different ways. Also, I drew clouds to include into my poster to add a personal touch.
She’s in the clouds,
Heavy and dark,
Waiting to fall like rain.
