Integrative Studio (Fashion) – Bridge #4- Part 2: Final Garment

So far I started collecting different kinds of sheet metals and I’ve been exploring ways of shaping them into a human figure. This past week I created shaping the ideal body in two different ways; casting my own body and covering a figure with metal wire. Also, I created a breast coverage with a metal sheet. It is challenging for me to use a rough and sharp material, some accidents occurred before, however, I am determined to use metal sheets, because, my argument is criticising how people tend to go through body manipulation (huge breasts, butt and tiny waist aka the hourglass figure) in order to have the ideal body. with this satirical piece, I will show how absurd this situation we are dealing with.
