We have reach the end of the summer course. So much work was produced during the last three weeks! Our last day was a celebration of all we have learned, explored and drawn together in Paris.
After reviewing each students portfolio, we selected what to show for the open studio show that took place in the afternoon.
Students worked in teams to hang dozens of drawings. We wall-papered the studio floor to ceiling with sketches, life drawings, still life, prints. We presented a collaborative drawn animation on the large video screen.
The show was very impressive and visitors were taken by our art work.
It has been a pleasure to work with this fun group of students. Their drawing and observation skills have grown so much in three weeks. People have been kind to each other’s, new friendships have formed and everyone has worked hard. I am excited to see how they will developed their talent in the future.
