Mimi Barcomi (’15, Theater) has been selected to direct a one act at Manhattan Repertory Theatre for their Fall One Act Festival.
U-Haul to the Moon is a sci-fi lesbian romance, written by Sorcha Fatooh (junior) and directed by Mimi Barcomi, starring New School students and alums Rachel Haas (Drama, sophomore), Lindsay Griffin (’15, Theater), Anna Dresdale (’15, Arts in Context), and Charlotte Durkee (Drama, sophomore).
The premise of the play is two futuristic space explorers crash land on the moon and discover ancient remnants of a lesbian separatist moon colony, whose presences linger and have a history that mirrors their own.
Performances are ran Thursday 9/10 through Sunday 9/13 at 6pm.
