Bridge 2: Project statement – February 2019

I liked the initial ad that I chose, I thought that it was smart and funny but I also thought there were design flaws. First of all, it was not straight to the point. You had to read a lot to learn about taxes. The pictures were also kind of corny and made the viewer feel less relatable to the ad. My goal for re-designing this was to make it straight to the point, while still using their clever slogans as well as make the information straight to the point, especially for the platform that I designed them for.

This is the original ad that I chose.

The first one, I designed for the subway. Somewhere below ground.

Then, I redesigned that to go on the interior overhead subway advertisement space.

This is what I imagine this ad would look like:

The campaign also advertised on bus stops and linkNYC kiosks, so I made one that was easy to get information out of my adding a large QR code.
