When starting this project there were a plethora of new ideas and concepts learned. I feel like I have a much clearer understanding of how to manage my own time and also staying on track. The box was very simplistic in nature when starting but when coming down to the final bits and pieces I found it very challenging everything that could’ve gone wrong in my project did I really struggled to get the wood and it was a very long process before I was able to get my hands on some. It was very rare that I could find time out of class to make the box. But in doing so I was able to really hone my skills and make it work in the end. For me I was able to learn how to manage my time And I’m really looking at improving in this in the future. Furthermore I feel like my technical skills have improved greatly since the start of this assignment due to the fact that is a very hands-on project. I learned how to properly measure and make things fit correctly because when I was in the beginning stages of it I went to put my roof on it fell  right through because I incorrectly measured how long the roof needs to be. But I do feel successful in the end because of the fact that I was able to make a box of fit together well my only struggle with time management and finding a time where I could go to the wood shop and also the materiality of it was challenging not able to get the required tools needed to complete the assignment was very vexing on my part. In responses to the text I thought it was rather funny because I later change my book to do flatland because I was not really enjoying my first read. In flatland he talks a lot about social hierarchies and angles and shapes and I thought it was kind of funny that I was literally making shapes as this project unfolded it was interesting to see the dynamic between real-life in the novel due to the nature and origins of-what I was making.
