Strike Console is a short animation that I created for my second semester, first year Time class about a villain who created a device that controls meteorits. For this one, I drew inspiration from the Star Wars computer consoles and button interfaces, especially those on star destroyer ships. I have always been fascinated by interactive devices. Cars, Plane cockpits, space craft cockpits, etc. Here, I was able to design my own interface – though entirely destructive in purpose, it does reveal a truth about humans in general. We have destructive tendencies and those tendencies are sometimes fun.
