Rei Kawakubo Is a fashion designer from Tokyo, Japan. She was born in October 11, 1942 and later in 1969, Rei Kawakubo had found the company, Comme Des Garcons meaning “Like boys”.
Comme des Garcons started in Tokyo in the late 1960’s. Kawakubo’s designs creates symbiotic relationship between break the mold approach and modernisms to the designs.
[Front View] After visiting The Met, this design, the Ensemble by Comme Des Garcons SS 2012 had caught my eyes.
[Side View] The “White drama” was the perfect summation of Comme Des Garcons SS 2012 collection show. The collection shows the stage of dramatic birth, marriage, death, transcendence.
