PARSONS WORK EXPERIMENTING WITH TECHNIQUES Posted by leunl743 on July 12, 2018July 12, 2018 ISO 6400 55MM F/1.8 1/2000 SEC: THIS IS THE EXAMPLE OF THE HIGHER ISO, AS YOU CAN SEE THE GRAIN IS MUCH HIGHER BECAUSE THE LIGHT SENSITIVITY ON THE SENSOR IS MUCH LOWER, AND IT DOES NOT SENSE AS MANY COLOURS AS IT WOULD IN A LOWER ISO. ISO 250 55MM F/2.0 1/40 SEC: THIS PHOTO IS MUCH CLEARER THAN THE PHOTO WITH THE LARGER ISO, BECAUSE THERE IS MORE LIGHT THAT THE SENSOR PROCESSES. THE WHITE BALANCED HAS ALSO BEEN FIXED, SETTING IT TO “WARM WHITE LIGHT +1”. THE SHUTTER SPEED RUNS A LITTLE LOW, WHICH RISKS A BLURRY PHOTO, ALTHOUGH IT DOES NOT SEEM LIKE THIS PHOTO IS TOO SHAKY. LONG EXPOSURE ISO 100 55MM F/9.0 1.3 SEC: LIKE THE LIGHT PAINTING PHOTO, THIS LONG EXPOSURE SHOT HAS A LONGER SHUTTER SPEED, RESULTING IN THE BLURRY MOVEMENT OF THE FACE. LONG DEPTH ISO 20K 55 MM F/18 1/100 SEC: A SMALLER APERTURE RESULTS IN A LARGER DEPTH OF FIELD, WHICH MEANS A LARGER PART OF THE PHOTO WILL BE CLEAR. SHORT DEPTH ISO 125 55MM F/1.8 1/100 SEC: A LARGER APERTURE RESULTS IN A SHALLOWER DEPTH OF FIELD, WHICH ENHANCES THE FOCAL POINT OF THIS PHOTO. IF THERE WERE LIGHT BEHIND, THIS SHALLOW DEPTH WOULD CREATE A BOKEH. LIGHT PAINTING IN BRIGHT LIGHT ISO 100 55MM F/9.0 1.3 SEC: TO CREATE THE LIGHT TRAILS, I HAD TO KEEP THE SHUTTER SPEED AT A LOW SPEED, WHICH MEANT I HAD TO KEEP THE ISO LOW, AND THE IRIS SMALL TOO. LENS FILTER ISO 100 55MM F/9.0 1/3 SEC: I USED A TRANSPARENT ACRYLIC SHEET TO MANIPULATE THE WAY WE SEE EMILIA; TO CREATE THE SHARPEST PICTURE, I LOWERED THE ISO, BUT THAT MEANT THAT I HAD TO TURN MY F STOP UP, AND MY SHUTTER SPEED WAS LOW. ISO 50 55MM F/22 15.0 SEC: UNLIKE THE OTHER PHOTOS, THESE SETTINGS ARE NOT WHAT YOU WOULD TYPICALLY SEE, BECAUSE I NEED TO CAPTURE THE MOVING FLASH. IN THIS PHOTO, MY ONLY AIM WAS TO CAPTURE THE LIGHT TRAILS, BUT THIS TIME IN A DARKER SETTING. ISO 50 55MM F/22 10 SEC: THIS IS ALSO A LONG EXPOSURE SHOT, BUT THIS TIME SHOW WITH A SHORT SHUTTER SPEED, AND TAKEN IN THE REFLECTION OF THE MIRROR. APART FROM THE LIGHT LEAK ON THE LEFT, TAKING THE SHOT IN A REFLECTION DOES NOT MAKE MUCH DIFFERENCE. BETWEEN THE TWO DARK LIGHT TRAILS, I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE TRAIL IS THINNER ON THE SIDE WITH A SHORT SHUTTER SPEED, AS IT DOES NOT HAVE AS MUCH TIME TO CAPTURE THE LIGHT.
