Punk is a subculture that prevailed among young people all around the world from1960s to 1970s. It is usually referred as a kind of rock’n roll music with fast rhythm, aggressive lyrics, and tone-deaf melody. However, punk’s influence is not only in music, but in a fully-developed pop culture. It includes music, literature, visual art, fashion, philosophy, and life style. The punk culture is characterized largely by its anti-establishment view, and celebration of individual freedom; opinions and attitudes of punk are often radical and idiosyncrasy.
