Integrative Studio is one of the courses that I found fun, interesting, yet challenging. We had a lot of space for creativity for each assignment that we were assigned. I like how we were not restrained by any particular rules.
Derive
This project was our first assignment and it was also the assignment that I have struggled with the most. Although a lot of freedom was given to us to complete this project, I struggled to find inspirations. Yet, looking back at what I have done, I realised that I have learned a lot throughout the whole process. I have begun to pay more attention to my environment than I already did before which further allowed me to embrace in my surroundings. Moreover, I have also grasp hold of the different steps in order to develop a good project.

I really enjoyed doing this project as it was pretty fun and interesting. Through this project, not only that I was able to understand my friend more but through our interviews, I was also able to learn a lot from him. At the same time, this project was also a challenge to me as it was my first time experiencing with film cameras and a few issues occurred whilst I was trying to complete the project. Nonetheless, I was pretty satisfied with the results.

I am not a fan of group projects but this was one of my favourite project in this course. Unexpectedly and surprisingly, our group collaborated so well and we were all extremely motivated and excited. Although we all went our individual ways while we were developing potential directions for the project, we were able to combine all of our ideas effortlessly and made into one. Despite the technical difficulties which occurred during our final step, we were able to manage well as a group and come up with an alternative plan. Our group worked extremely well as a group and we did not have any issues regarding on communication or collaboration.
Throughout this course, I was able to improve my skills in regards to collaborating with other people. I have learned to play different roles amongst the group and have come to understand more about the importance of working with other people. I also liked the fact that we had a limited amount of time to complete each project as it has allowed me to improve my time management. The step-by-step process through different class sessions has also allowed me to learn how to develop my projects.
