Process Photos of Lined Dress

First fitting:
The first fitting entailed figuring out how to make a pattern that would fit my body. It was very challenging to do since it was something I had never done before. A problem I encountered in my first fitting was the lack of planning for the buttons I was going to put on the back of my dress to make it close.

Second fitting:
After adjusting my pattern I made sure that my buttons and button holes would align. After trying on the muslin and seeing that it fit properly I felt my patterns were correct and I could cut out my denim.

Third fitting:
Since my body measurements are very close to a size 6 mannequin, I was fortunate enough to fit my dress onto it. This was extremely helpful for deciding where my button and button holes would be placed on the back and where my straps would start and where they would buckle.

I am pretentious and ambivalent about myself and unbelievably naive and my favorite piece of writing is "When I Look at a Strawberry, I think of a Tongue"
