Book 1: 1785/87/90-2010 Leonor Antunes
The pages of this book bound by a thin lace. This is a photography book of a foundry of gold coins with the effigy of Queen Mary I of Portugal. Besides the concept of this photography book, the way of tight the lace is extremely unique because it caught my attention in the beginning. Breaking the regular form of book is one of the way to create an interesting design.
Book 2: Pepe the Sad Frog Coloring Book and Chinese Learning Guide
It’s not like normal book which complete made by paper and words. This book is pretty interesting to me because it’s made of paper and clear plastic paper. Words and images are printed on both paper and plastic paper. So, in my future project I probably will use some other material instead of paper. For instance, leaves, fabric, wood, etc.
