While we visited the exhibit at the MET, the artwork we encountered had mostly communicative style where both artists had a visual conversation with art as the medium. Their topics ranged from coherent ideas flowing smoothly, to a quick change of theme with one similarity whether it be color or shape of the previous photograph. It strongly relates to our bridge project since our task is to have a flow of ideas that communicate with each other any way we choose.
My partner and I are attempting to connect our images with similarity in shape and colors as well as infuse a more playful aspect to express the conversation. Similarities between both projects may lie in the way we attempt to share colors and shapes that match with each other as well as introduce new ideas between image sets. By including sound and small text message widgets in our presentation, we differ from the exhibit at the MET yet still maintain the general theme of communicating via art.
