Uncliche a Cliche

“How could you reclaim the cliché and turn it into a non-cliché object? Perhaps you need to bring it into a different context? How can you change it to show how alive and particular it can be? Identify what needs to be changed to “uncliché” it.”

Graffiti is a common cliche because it has become over used. When we think of graffiti we think of large-chunky lettering, cartoons, tags all created with spray paint. It has overpopulated the walls of places all over the world and once was a unique form has become a mere cliche.
