In making this film, my goal was to create both an audio and visual experience. Inspiration came from Andy Warhol’s screen tests and The Exploding Plastic Inevitable which involved both Andy any the band The Velvet Underground. Any art that bombards the senses fascinates me. In this film I used obscured sounds that seem confusing, along with bits of interviews that I found featuring Edie Sedgwick and Andy who were very close with one another. For the visual aspect, I projected backgrounds that intrigue and challenge the eye onto the subject.
