First, I interviewed Clara and we asked each other a series of question that sparked stories. One story stuck with me based on the question, “when was the last time you laughed the hardest?” There were a lot of specific details and colors that resonated in the story for me. I wanted to recreate it but in a personal way. I went to Coney Island with my friend and we had a personal day of our own. After taking the photographs, I messed around with text and placement of the photographs. I wanted it to resemble film stills but in a film reel format.
