“Love”
This painting represents the concept of love. The dark part in the right corner of the painting is supposed to represent all the struggles and problems coming along with love however the white line above it is supposed to represent all the good things associate with love that overcome all its possible negative aspects.
“Wet”
In this painting I created a blue base layer which I then covered with thick vertical lines of white, black, grey and navy paint.
“Tumble”
Here I just dipped a paint brush in white paint and created lots of random dynamic lines which overlap each other.
“Lonely”
To create the sensation of loneliness I crated a vary dark base on which I then splashed paint. I left the paint this way in order to crate an effect of isolation.
Black
I was assigned to explore the colour black. I wanted to create a minimalistic painting that would be very simple but at the same time portray how powerful this colour is and how it overcomes any other colour.
