Yves Saint Lauren 1990_Lucie_mix of cultures
I chose this photo because I am personally very into those Scottish tartans and army jacket. It will be very interesting to see how Saint Lauren took a different steps from other brands.

Chanel in 1958
At that time, Chanel said that they want women to look young and beautiful, yet very functional. This was the time after WWII was finished. Chanel is a well-known brand and almost the only brand that I know of when I am a fashion-blind.

Chanel in 1959,
Same with the previous photo. It is just one year after the previous one. I was surprised how their dress from 1950s are still visible from the dress now in 2018. It would be very interesting to find out the little details that are changed over time.
1960s Beatles_ Douglas Millings
The collarless and lapelless suits got really popular during the time. This outfit became the symbol of mod youth of 60s. I really like the look of this outfit and it is very interesting to see very classical and formal outfit on bands at that time instead of leather jackets.
