Phoenix
The Phoenix is a mystical bird that is believed to have the ability to regenerate from its ashes once it meets with its destruction. I strongly connect to this bird because I feel like I figuratively have the same strength of pulling myself back together after all my downfalls. This is a major part of my life because there have been so many incidents that have left me completely devastated but I never gave up and I think that these are the defining moments of my life that speak a lot about me. The shackles the Phoenix is breaking out of signify freedom which is a very important aspect in my life at this point in time. A college student living in the city of New York all on my own, I can’t even begin to describe how free or other independent I feel.
