This class exercise was a group project for four participants- every 20 minutes each of us drew at one quadrant of the drawing, and then given another quadrant of the drawing- all in all, four 20 minutes sessions of drawing a part of the drawing.
This is a picture of the blank page (before our expansion).
This is the first quadrant I drew- in my drawings here I tried to incorporate parts of the picture we expanded and were inspired by surrealism.
Here, I incorporated the white dog in the picture.
This part was drawn with Sharpie pens.
The second quadrant was inspired by the eye of the animal/person in the photo. I drew the man with a blue hair and a ginger mustache.
It was drawn with crayons and a Sharpie pen.
Here, I tried to incorporate the small picture inside the picture- of a man in uniform, yet I wanted the drawing to be surrealistic and funny.
I drew the skeleton in a uniform and the man with red heels- both were drawn with a Sharpie pen.
In the last quadrant I took the face of the animal/person and enlarge it, with its hair/mane overflowing.
The drawing was made with Sharpie pens.
This is the complete drawing we produced- a very cheerful yet weird drawing, containing four different drawing styles.
