During the weekend we were to go out on the subway and get off at a station we have never been before, in an area we have never been to before. There, we were to take pictures of our surroundings and draw fast sketches.
Knowell Kang and I decided to go the 57 St. and 7th Ave, near the south part of Central Park, an area of the park both of us have never been to before. We went from the station In Union Square on the R (or it might have been the N).
At this Point we had arrived to the park and continued to take photos and draw sketches.
(We tried to produce loud sounds to scare them into flight, but we couldn’t. Yet every time we produced a sound their heads would turn a bit.)
Now we were headed to exit the park on 8th Ave, where we encountered an Ice cream truck.
We ordered milkshakes, which were a bit too milky.
We ate pizza at one of the restaurants in the area, and walked toward the 49 St subway station.
From 49 St. subway station we got off the train (again, via the R or N), at 23 St. station and walked towards Michael’s. Outside of the store was this dog dressed as a lion.
From Michael’s we headed towards the UC and ended our walk.
