For the final of Drawing/ Imaging class we were to imagine our Alter Ego.
As for my alter ego, I would have loved to be Barbra Streisand inspired, and I started with this famous photo taken of her.
I tried to mimic her in this photo, in a photo of myself taken for the final.
I started with this photo. By cropping out my face and placing it onto a basic portrait background in Photoshop. I was also inspired by Baroque portraits, with the dark background and the 45° angle degree of the faces.
I wanted to incorporate two other things in my alter ego. The first being a morphing into a cat. The second being my fear of spiders. I thought that my alter ego would not have been afraid, but more of in control of spiders.
After adding pictures found on the Internet of fur and a cat eye.
After adding three different kinds of spiders, also from the Internet.
After creating hair via the blend tool in Photoshop, my final was ready.
